Created by Phil Cunningham of Sunrise Animation Studios, the film will be released exclusively in theaters on December 19, 2025, distributed by Angel.
DAVID is a larger-than-life animated feature film about one of the most fascinating figures in history. The movie tells the biblical story of David — warrior, poet, shepherd, and eventual king — whose faith and courage changed the course of nations. Phil Wickham, one of the most beloved voices in Christian music, brings both his musical artistry and heartfelt spirit to the role. “There are few men that have had a greater impact on my life than King David. Wickham joins Brandon Engman, who voices David as a youth, in the cast.
