“I got the title ‘Plead The Blood.’ It was a phrase that I had heard growing up in church. I had heard it preached about several times, but it kind of had a bizarre connotation to me. The more I really dug into it, I was like maybe there is an opportunity to reframe this phrase because it’s actually quite powerful if you take some of the hype factor away from it.” – Chris Davenport
