Fresh off their 52nd GMA DOVE Award wins, for Worship Album of the Year and New Artist of the Year. Now, Tribl’s #1 best-selling record-breaking collective, Maverick City Music, has received five GRAMMY® nominations across the categories, Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song, Best Contemporary Christian Music Album, Best Gospel Album, Best Gospel Performance/Song. Additionally, Maverick City Music artist Dante Bowe received a Best Gospel Performance/Song solo nomination for his single “Joyful.” This fall, the collective completed their first headlining tour, Welcome to Maverick City Music and appeared on daytime talk show, The Nick Cannon Show, in which they inspired the audience with the song, “Man of Your Word.” (watch performance here). Maverick City Music made extraordinary headlines with their release Old Church Basement, a collab album with Elevation Worship, which broke streaming records at both Apple Music and Spotify. On Apple Music, the group set a new worldwide record for the most first-day streams for a Christian and Gospel album, and on Spotify, the album broke the U.S. record for the most streams in a day for an album by a Christian group and was #4 out of all U.S. albums its first weekend of release.
