As we kick off 2021 we’ve put together a list of five new artists we think are worth your time and ear this year. Check them out below and you just might find one of these new faces becoming your next fave.
CAIN

CAIN (made of siblings Taylor, Madison, and Logan Cain) tows the line between new and nostalgia choosing warm, analog tones from some of their influences like The Eagles and Bob Seger while not neglecting a crisp, current vocal making something new altogether. The group has toured all across the US, UK and Canada performing at notable festivals like C2C in London and Cavendish Beach Music Fest, but they feel it’s all been preparation for where God is calling them: Christian music. Madison said, “Everything in our career to this point has been a matter of ‘making it.’ Every song, show, or video had the undertone of ‘I hope this will be our big break.’ It really took letting it all go and saying ‘God, what do you want us to say?’ Now, making music brings us pure joy and I hope the audience can feel it in the songs.”
Baylor Wilson

At 26, Baylor Wilson has already lived a life most people only dream about – excelling at competitive cheerleading, starring in Season 29 of NBC’s Survivor , scoring a country music publishing deal – all before graduating from college. But according to Baylor, these life-making moments were just a precursor to the abundant life she found when she met Jesus. Baylor recently signed a deal with Fair Trade Services and just released her debut Christian single appropriately titled “Jesus Happened.” It is her story of meeting Jesus and being changed from the inside out. With a debut this captivating and poetically autobiographical, it’s obvious Baylor Wilson’s story of redemption is just getting started.
Leanna Crawford

For the past two and half years, the singer-songwriter from northwestern Washington, Leanna Crawford has been writing, touring and singing with some of the biggest names in the Christian music industry. She’s gained more experience than many artists do in a decade and while her music certainly displays the vocal and songwriting talent of a rising star in CCM, her grounded and honest lyrics make her feel more friend and confidante than star, more approachable than untouchable. With songs that speak honestly about doubt and insecurity as well as the hope Christ offers in our darkest moments, Crawford’s listeners will find solace in her kind and wise words while tapping their feet along to contagious, pop-inspired beats.
