Every year thousands flock to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, CA for Switchfoot’s annual Bro-Am beach festival, which features a surf tournament, various vendors and ends with a live concert.
While the Covid-19 Pandemic has forced them to cancel the in-person event, Switchfoot has found a way to still keep the heart of Bro-Am beating & continue to help kids in immediate need…by taking the event ONLINE. See their announcement below!
Dear Friends!
Every year in June, we gather together at our local beach to lift our voices in support of at-risk youth within our community. We’ve been doing this together for 15 years, raising more than 1.5 million dollars in support of these incredible kids.
This year, since we can’t safely have a concert with thousands of people on the beach, we’re taking the show online! This isn’t just any old Instagram or Facebook live stream, no…We’re going BIG! We’ll have a full stage, lights, live chat and more!
Join us June 27th at 5PM PST on SWITCHFOOT.com as we come together (digitally) in support of at-risk kids in both our local San Diego and National Communities! Can’t make it at 5PM on the dot? No problem! The stream will be accessible until the end of the month. You can tune in live, or catch it with your morning coffee the next day!
We started the BRO-AM 16 years ago with one goal: to give back to the next generation. This year, the needs within our community and country are greater than ever.
All net proceeds of your BRO-AM streaming ticket will bring immediate, much needed relief and support to six amazing organizations:
Feeding America
A Step Beyond
Challenged Athletes Foundation
Feeding San Diego
Monarch Schools &
VH1 Save The Music
We sing these songs because love is the movement. Because we believe that hope deserves an anthem. Now more than ever, we want to turn it up and make a difference in a world that needs it.
Join us for BroAm- 2020, it’s gonna be epic!
Jon, Tim, Chad, Drew & Jerome
