Sara Groves is a veteran of the singer-songwriter community. This Christmas project is her 14th album and her second Christmas album. Her first Christmas album, O Holy Night, was released in 2008 and was from the viewpoint of anticipating the birth of Christ. This album is the follow up to that album and that feeling. The album explores the emotions of reacting to the birth and grappling with the knowledge of what has transpired.
