So, what’s your favorite Psalm?
My favorite Psalm, although not a worship Psalm, is Psalm 19. I like the overall progression from God’s World (General Revelation) to God’s Word (Special Revelation via the Scriptures) to a response. If the heavens tell of the glory of God and do so day by and night by night, how much more should we be declaring his glorious work? If the law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul, how much more should we be telling others of it?
If I were to claim a Psalm as my favorite it would have to be Psalm 103 and the promises of Blessing in this life that many overlook. Just the first 5 verses have so much power I could rejoice all year!
David was feeling rejected by others. He chose to seek the Father for acceptance. The Father is the only one who can accept us as we are. We need to turn to Him for our emotional need of acceptance. It is so fulfilling when we do.
My favorite Psalms are Psalm 40, Psalm 91, and Psalm 139!
My favorite Psalm is Psalm 91, because in it has all about God’s special care for me, which reminds me why I should love Him and how special I am to Him.
I bow down humbly in the presence of such garenetss.
Psalms 23 and 121 as those were my Grandma’s favorites.
Hey there! I could have sworn I’ve been to this blog before but after browsing through some of the post I realized it’s new to me.
Anyhow, I’m definitely happy I found it and I’ll be book-marking and checking back often!
