TobyMac Brings “Me Without You” To ABC’s The View This Friday May 24th

Multi-platinum artist honored with two
Billboard Music Awards on Sunday

All eyes will be tuned into ABC’s The View this Friday, May 24(11 AM EST, 10 AM PST/CST) as six-time GRAMMY® winner, TobyMac makes his second appearance in less than 13 months on the popular morning show. TobyMac returns to perform his hook-savvy No. 1 hit, “Me Without You,” from his Billboard Top 200 No. 1 album EYE ON IT. Adding to the project’s continued momentum is this week’s Billboard Music Awards for “Top Christian Album.” TobyMac also garnered a second win in the category of “Top Christian Artist.” Sunday night’s honors add to TobyMac’s impressive streak of winning at every major award show he has been nominated for this season – GRAMMY® Awards, American Music Awards, Australian Music Awards.

To top off an already exciting week on The View, TobyMac heard about his first Billboard Music Awards saying, “It’s been a seriously encouraging year already…it’s hard to believe EYE ON IT only came out eight months ago. It’s my honor to write songs that turn people’s eyes toward a God who loves them. ‘Steal My Show’ is not just a song I want to sing, it’s how I want to live.”

“Steal My Show” is the follow-up single from EYE ON IT and is No. 1 on this week’s charts. On June 1, TobyMac will join his friends for the first annual K-LOVE Fan Awards at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. The multi-award winner has three nominations in the categories of “Song of the Year,” “Male Artist of the Year” and “Artist of the Year.” He is the most nominated solo artist and only one of two artists overall to receive three nods. For more information on voting and the event, visitwww.KLoveFanAwards.com.

About TobyMac:
With over 11 million units in career sales, TobyMac’s career continues on the fast track. His most recent project, EYE ON IT, garnered him the highest chart debut of his solo career landing at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and topping the iTunes® Overall and Christian sales charts. The project made TobyMac one of only four artists to ever debut atop the Billboard Top 200 with a Christian music album. Earlier this year, EYE ON IT received a GRAMMY®, marking the sixth career award for TobyMac. The music video for the album title’s track, featuring pop-sensation Britt Nicole, received over 500,000 views in its first three weeks. His previous four solo projects have received RIAA Gold certification and his live DVD, Alive & Transported, is certified platinum by the RIAA and received a GRAMMY® award. His 2009 album Tonight received GRAMMY® nods for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album and Best Contemporary Christian Song. TobyMac has won at every major award show this season. In addition to his recent GRAMMY® win, he has also received two Billboard Music Awards for Top Christian Artist and Top Christian Album, his first American Music Award for Favorite Artist in the Contemporary/Inspirational category and swept the 2013 Australian Music Awards.

Platinum selling artist Mark Schultz is a true testament of All Things Possible. The multi-award winner recently wrapped up his “All Things Possible” Tour, visiting over 20 cities and selling out shows all across the country. The tour’s namesake is from Schultz’ latest project, which includes his hit No. 1 title track song. Following up the success of “All Things Possible” is the release of his latest single “I Gave Up.” The song just recently hit radio and is an honest confession of letting go of the trivial things of this world.

In March 2014, Schultz will embark on his second cruise event, “Mark Schultz & Friends – All Things Possible Cruise.” Tickets are selling quickly for the intimate cruise which sets sail on March 30, 2014 to April 6, 2014. About Mark Schultz:
Originally hailing from Colby, KS., Mark Schultz moved to Nashville to pursue his musical ambitions and found inspiration while working as a youth pastor. Schultz booked a show at the city’s famed Ryman Auditorium and with the overwhelming support of friends and family, the show was a sell-out. This virtually unheard-of feat for a new artist landed Schultz a record deal where he went on to sell over 1.3 million albums and garner 10 No. 1 singles to date. Last year, Schultz released his project All Things Possible, which boasts new stories as the multi-award winning artist celebrates becoming a father, making new friends during his year-long stay in Italy with his wife Kate and kicking-off his “Remember Me Mission” to support orphans. All Things Possible includes his No. 1 hit single and album title track. Throughout his career, Schultz has landed the top spot on Billboard magazine’s Christian Adult Contemporary Songwriter list and has been featured on “48 Hours” and “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.” In 2011, Schultz released his first instrumental album, Renaissance and his first novella, titled “Letters From War,” based on the his hit song. His 2005 release, Mark Schultz Live: A Night of Stories & Songs, was certified Platinum by the R.I.A.A. and earned Schultz his first GMA Dove Award.

Hillsong LIVE set to release 22nd album, Glorious Ruins, on July 2

Hillsong LIVE will release their 22nd live-recorded album, Glorious Ruins, on July 2. Recorded for the first time live in two locations – London, England and Sydney, Australia – Glorious Ruins is consistent with Hillsong’s passion to resource the church around the globe. The live album offers the church a new era of worship anthems that will cross multiple denominational and cultural boundaries.

“Ruins can speak of crushing defeat or perhaps of something abandoned, but the good news today is that the ruins come to life,” explains Senior Pastor of Hillsong Church Brian Houston. “Through Jesus Christ what we look at is ruins that become glorious.”

Let the ruins come to life, in the beauty of your name, rising up from the ashes, God forever you reign. And my heart will find refuge, in the shadow of your wings, I will love you forever, and forever I’ll sing” – lyrics from “Glorious Ruins”

“This declaration of the saving power of Christ reminds us that we can look to the cross throughout life, in times of success or failure He is there with us,” shares worship leader Reuben Morgan. “We’ve never been diverted from viewing worship as both personal and corporate, intimate and celebratory. We don’t seek to make each project ‘better’ as such, because how can one form of worship be better than another? Instead each project is a continuation of the journey, and we are thankful to God that so many people take the journey with us.”

Glorious Ruins is an acknowledgment of humanity and a bridge to redemption. It includes 12 fresh new songs (14 songs on the Deluxe Edition) written by Hillsong team members including Joel Houston, Reuben Morgan, Ben Fielding and Matt Crocker. The album features the title track, “Man of Sorrows,” which is already being sung in churches internationally, and “Glorify Your Name,” a collaboration between Reuben Morgan and Chris Tomlin.

Glorious Ruins follows the highly successful LIVE 2012 release Cornerstone, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian and Praise and Worship charts. The single “Cornerstone” recently had the highest debut on the CCLI chart and was sung in over 11,000 churches on Easter Sunday.

Glorious Ruins Track List:
1. Always Will
2. You Never Fail
3. Christ Is Enough
4. Where The Spirit of the Lord Is
5. Glorious Ruins
6. Closer
7. God Who Saves
8. To Be Like You
9. Man of Sorrows
10. We Glorify Your Name
11. You Crown The Year (Psalm 65:11)
12. Anchor

Critics Call Amy Grant’s First Full Length Album In 10 Years, How Mercy Looks From Here “Vibrant” And “One Of The Best Albums Of The Year”

The foundation behind Amy Grant’s first full-length studio album in 10 years came from some advice given to her by her late mother – “sing something that matters.” The six-time GRAMMY® Award winner, who releases her 18th studio album today, May 14 is dedicating How Mercy Looks From Here to her mother and drawing from some of her favorite singers and songwriters in what critics are calling her most impactful release to date. The impressive array of talent includes Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Will Hoge, Carole King, Eric Paslay and James Taylor.

To launch her first album in over a decade, Grant dives in to street week with appearances on CBS This Morning (5/17 and 5/18) and the nationally syndicated lifestyle program, The Better Show (5/17) as well as Morning Joe on MSNBC (5/14), NPR’s “Weekend Edition” (5/12), WOR Radio with Rita Cosby (5/14), ABC Radio, Keep the Faith radio and more. Grant also recently conducted an in depth interview for Lifetime TV’s “The Balancing Act,” (5/28) as well as their “Hollywood Watch” program (5/31). Additionally, Grant is also scheduled to appear on the highly acclaimed shows The View and The Chew early this summer.

Other media highlights for How Mercy Looks From Here include a special two-part Artist to Artist interview with FUSE NEWS between Grant and Sheryl Crow, an exclusive online video interview for Entertainment Tonight online as well as their featured artist for New Music Tuesday today, exclusive song premieres with Billboard.com and GoodHousekeeping.com, and cover stories with CCM Magazine, Called Magazine, Guideposts, FIRST for Women Magazine, SOCIAL and WHOA magazines. Additional feature coverage includes Billboard, Country Weekly, People.com, SiriusXM, and more.

The album’s lead track, “Don’t Try So Hard,” features legendary songwriter James Taylor and continues its rise up the AC monitored chart, jumping 4 spots to #25 this week, and up 6 spots on the National Audience chart to #27.

Along with special mother’s day promotions with several stations across the country, additional radio promos for the record are happening with key market stations throughout the country. Grant is making personal appearances at record listening parties with WAWZ, WGTS, WCIE, and WHPZ, as well as participating in a special promotion with KSBJ, while KXOJ and K-LOVE are both promoting a flyaway to The Greek Theater in Los Angeles to meet Amy and see her live.

Welcoming back the iconic singer-songwriter with open arms, here are just a few of the multitudes of praises on How Mercy Looks From Here:

“[Amy’s] time away from music seems to have given [her] a renewed fervor for the job – a feeling that she doesn’t plan to extinguish any time soon.”
- Entertainment Tonight

“…her singing has an easy grace that’s well served by these songs of love, loss, faith and resilience, which benefit from Marshall Altman’s spare, glowing production.”
- USA Today

“Grant’s most emotionally compelling release since 1988’s “Lead Me On”… proves that sincerity is not overrated and that open-hearted storytelling will outlast any musical fad.”

- Atlanta Journal Constitution

“The revered veteran is at another creative peak punctuated by authentic vocal delivery, understated but sophisticated production and a slew of all-star guests.”
- CCM Magazine

“…the songs glow with the gentle redemptive wisdom that is her strong point as a songwriter and singer.”
- iTunes

“…a start-to-finish true album experience… Every song on this album is heart and soul music, and Grant hits a home run in her quest to “sing something that matters.”
- Nashville Parent

“A collection of songs that mine the depths of both heart and soul as only Amy can. This is easily one of the best albums of the year.”
- NewReleaseTuesday.com

“Ultimately a profoundly encouraging record, How Mercy Looks From Here is a vibrant collection of thoughtful, reflective ruminations on life and the passage of time, from the lens of one who realizes the purpose for which she was created.”
- Christian Musician

About The Afters:
Texas-based, four-piece band The Afters were propelled into the national spotlight with their INO/Sony Music Label Group debut I Wish We All Could Win. The project spawned the swirling, melodic hit “Beautiful Love,” earning the band an enthusiastic following when the song was selected as the theme track for MTV’s “8th and Ocean.” “Beautiful Love” was also the most downloaded track of 2006 on the iTunes ® Inspirational charts and garnered the band an mtvU award as well. The Afters’ sophomore release Never Going Back To OK (INO/Columbia Records) debuted in the Top 50 on the Billboard Top 200, and proved to be sensation on the silver screen with “Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC), “Dr. Phil,” “Army Wives” (Lifetime) and “Rachael Ray.” The band’s third record Light Up the Sky bolstered two No. 1 radio hits, as well as placements on “The Biggest Loser” (NBC) and “You Deserve It” (ABC). A slew of media including Rolling Stone, Seventeen.com, E! News Live, TV Guide, Premiere Radio and more also picked up on covering The Afters.
