Sara Groves Performs At The White House For The President’s Easter Prayer Breakfast

This week Sara Groves had the honor of performing at the White House for the President’s Easter Prayer Breakfast, and we caught word of it just in time to watch the live stream!

    I watched her live and she sang beautifully. I was impressed that she requested the audience sing "Great is Thy Faithfulness" along with her. Obama's brief talk was equally powerful. I believe that Sara posted excerpts on her fb page.

    Mrs. Sara Groves gave a lovely performance. What an honor not only to win the Dove Award, but to be selected to worship in song at theWhite House. Mr. Obama's speech was nice, too. I don't agree with my president on many things, but on faith we can agree. I pray that others who don't agree with our president do not resort to slander and gossip, making false accusations against him. Our God alone knows our president's heart. We trust in the judgement of the Lord. Let us remember that this presidency is in God's hands. All things work for good according to God's plan. Let us do our part in remaining steadfast in our Christian faith in our civil disagreements and in what we do agree on. God, I ask you to keep your hand on the president and all who lead our nation. Make of them wise rulers, all in your glory LORD. Please keep your hand on our nation and send your Holy Spirit to guide us to your glory LORD. I thank you, LORD, that we live in a nation where I can worship you freely without hindrance of civil law, without fear of arrest or worse. For all the blessings you have given our nation, I thank you O LORD. All glory to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen

    People who spout off about "The Lord" certainly have the right to their beliefs. I just wish that they would be a little less selfish and keep their opinions to themselves. Their pushiness is off-putting.
