Ashes Remain recently posted a live video of their song “Unbroken” from a concert! They put on a great show!
Here is a little bit about Ashes Remain:
According to the band, much of their debut was written from the perspective of what it is like to feel as if there is no hope, where you are your own worst enemy and ultimately what it looks like to go from that very real and dark place to one where there is hope and step into the light. That journey from dark to light isn’t always a swift one and sometimes has to be walked many times, but it is a journey that the band is familiar with and feels called to go on with their fans. As lead vocalist Josh Smith puts it, “We’re not role models. We’re just broken people who need Jesus.”

My favorite Scripture passage is my life verse, Isaiah 6:8 - "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for Us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!""
My favorite scripture is 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NIV) God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. AMEN!
One of my favorite verses is Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Perfect Love! :)
Romans 10:17 Faith comes from hearing, hearing comes from the WORD of God.
My Favorite Verse is definitely Psalm 37:3-4, in conjunction with Matthew 6:33. If we seek God, he will take care of the rest.
My favorite scripture is Phil. 4;13 i can do all things throuHim that strengthens me. Judy Porter coolnole fan
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to over come all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. (Luke 10: 19-20 NIV)
My favorite scripture verse is Matthew 10:39 - "Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." :)
Mine would have to be.... "Do not let others look down on you because you are young but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12
Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Phillipians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Isaiah 40:30, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16
1 Peter 3:7, "Likewise, shusbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker tvessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered."
My favorite scripture is Psalm 46:10 -- He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” This always reminds that God is God! That I am to sit, listen, remember that HE IS GOD and that is all there is to it!
My favorite scripture verse is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future."
I have a lot of favorite Scripture verses. A few include John 3:16, Philippians 4:13, and Romans 8: 31-39.
"Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see." - Hebrews 11:1
Titus 2:11-14, that sums up the gospel in one paragraph!
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Matthew 5: 13 & 14 You are the Salt of the earth ... You are the light of the world.
Isaiah 40:31
Luke 15:3-7: Then Jesus told them this parable: "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent."
Wow! I don't exactly have a "favorite," but Psalm 103 is one passage that has spoken to me over and over again. Amazing to think that the Lord's love for us is as far as the heavens are above the earth and He has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west. Praise the Lord, O my soul!
Romans 6:18 "for now you have died to sin, and have become slaves to righteousness."
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man, and God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
Luke 1:38 And then Mary Replied "Because I am a Servant of Christ let it be as you have said" I love that so much!
