Happy February! January is officially over and Valentine’s Day is on its way, but that doesn’t mean you have to stop eating healthy! As I mentioned on Friday, we have recently started using Pinterest at FreeCCM, and we are loving all the great ideas there!
I recently found a wonderful recipe for a really healthy strawberry lemonade smoothie packed with Kale, coconut oil, fruit and other delicious ingredients. Kale is filled with amazing vitamins and nutrients. This is the best way to trick your body into getting some good nutrition!

I love eating sweets and red foods in general. Especially putting sweets with something salty is great!
I love eating a nice dinner with my husband.... doesn't matter what! Some years we have had steak from nice restaurants, this year it will probably be hamburgers at home...but at least we are together!
My favorite thing to eat on Valentines day is Pineapple Chicken with Rice, my mom's recipe. It is amazing and it is salty and sweet. It has onions, celery, green peppers (optional), mushrooms (optional), Chicken, and Pineapple. Serve over white (or brown) rice! Sad...but I also eat this on my birthday!

My favourite thing to eat on Valentine's Day is a raw vegan lemon-cranberry cheesecake. I got the recipe from the website Healthy Blender Recipes, and it is absolutely delicious! It is super easy to make and tastes better (if you make it correctly) than any store-bought vegan dessert!

My family calls it "Grandpa's Favorite Dessert," inside joke... but it's basically a cake of peanut butter with chocolate lathered on top... like a massive Reeses candy. It is amazingly phenomenal!

A great thing to eat on Valentine’s Day is Salmon and scallop with mash potatoes and steamed vegs with a slice of pie. Great Eats just about any day of the year.
My favorite thing to eat on Valentines Day is chocolate! Although I eat that whenever throughout the year, so it doesn't really seem all that special, but whatever. It's just another excuse to eat chocolate!!!

The best thing I've found available only for Valentine's Day is the chocolate cherry bread from.Great Harvest Bread Company in Chattanooga, TN and I so wish I still Libra there to het that and their spinach feta bread. Making my mouth water and stomach growl just thinking about those breads! I just might have to find out if they started shipping bread or get my daughter to order them and send them to me. Thanks for reminding me of this fabulous bread!

I love french toast in the morning with some bacon !!! That is the best on Valentine'e Day !!!! And for dinner ...... chicken parmesan !!! I love that !!! And I love to cook so that works out !! ha ha
