"Chains Hit the Ground" by Leeland
Oh man, it's so hard to choose! I would say Music by Manic Drive
So many choices. I chose Fall Apart - Josh Wilson because everyone can relate to it.
to many to choose from but i would say kari jobe we are
My favorite song from 2011 would be "Heaven Came Down" by the David Crowder Band. Thanks.
no doubt Courageous by Casting Crowns!
My Hope Is In You by Aaron Shust
'Fall Apart' by Josh Wilson. So humbling and inspirational!
Blessings by Laura Story - we lost a baby through a failed adoption, but had a successful adoption after that & my baby girl is so beautiful. Every time I hear this song, it makes me think of her wonderful/amazing adoption story.
Joy - Phil Whickham. This was the song I listened to via a free streaming of the cd when I was laboring at home with my son. It was so wonderful to have Phil Whickham's cd in my mind as I went to the hospital to birth our baby!
Where I belong - Building 429. Such a great reminder that there is so much more and better to come when we get truly home!
Most assuredly BLESSINGS by Laura Story. Within the last year, my nephew, who is in his late 20’s & is like my son, ended up being homeless, jobless & car-less. He made some bad choices & married a gal who had been addicted to hard drugs. She ended up pregnant & went to prison. My nephew moved in with me & has had to battle rehab & demons of his own. Living with his lack of life skills & my rare condition has been a challenge, to say the least. Laura’s song helps me to re-focus on the fact that the Lord can use these trials to draw us closer to Him and to further trust that He is in control.
At your Name- Phil Wickham. This man is truly a blessing to my life. Thank you Phil!
Wedding Day - Casting Crowns
I really liked (Lift me up) by the Afters the most..
Definitely Feed the Machine by Red. That song completely broke new ground in the world of christian rock. :)
Sara Groves - Miracle or Jason Gray - Nothing Is Wasted
My favorite new song of the year was Courageous by Casting Crowns. It reaffirms the commitment we need to make to be bold for God both at home and in public.
Fall Apart By Josh Wilson Awesome
My favortie song for 2011 was tied. I loved Courageous and Heart of Christmas by Mtthew West. His song was in a movie about a little boy from Washington, IL who was dying from cancer and wasn't expected to live to see Chhistmas. Its even more special as I saw Matthew in person before the prmier of the movie in Peoria, IL and he performed this hit song for us.
Also hard to chose here. I thing my favorite has to be "Always Forever" by Phil Wickham. We've done it in church with very positive response. Thanking God for all the artists who further His word!!
Mat Kearney - Ships in the Night
God's Not Dead (Like a Lion) by Newsboys
Liked Laura Story Blessings for sure, but also Peter Furhler Reach.
I loved Blessing by Laura Story! I have had a really tough year and this song just seemed to touch my soul. Without it, I would probably still be in a pit somewhere having a little pitty party for my self.
I love No One Higher by Martha Munizzi.
Seen a Darkness by John Mark McMillan
You Love Me Anyway by Sidewalk Prophets
Blessings by Laura Story
I smile by Kirk Franklin
"At Your Name" by Phil Wickham.
I really love music, so to pick a favorite is really hard for me! I must say that I do love the song Blessings by Laura Story! Great song!!
I really love a lot of Christian music, but all things considering what i went through last year, i would have to say that my favorite would have to be, MOVE by Mercy Me. It really motivated me when I needed it.
It's a close run between "It's Alright" by Brandon Heath, "You Lift Me Up" by The Afters, or "Strong Enough To Save" by Tenth Avenue North. I love those three!
"Remind Me Who I Am" by Jason Gray. I find it impressive that despite the fact that he has a speech impediment, he can still praise God through amazing songs. This specific song of his inspires me to realize that God knows who I am even when others don't.
I've learned that when you ask for a 'favorite' anything...I can't settle on just one! Courageous by Casting Crowns, Suitcases by Dara MacLean(?), TobyMac's whole new album!!! There's more great songs...but that will have to be my stopping point
manifesto by the city harmonic. it got stuck in my head for weeks at a time.
Where I Belong - Building 429. This speaks of my motivation to finish this life well with a focus on Eternity with the saints worshipping the One True GOD.
My favorite is "Blessings" by Laura Story!
Faceless by RED!
It would have to be the song, "Blessings" written, and sang by Laura Story. A beautiful lyric that is real, straight from the heart, put to a great track, and sung beautifully! I loved this song the first time I heard it. Then I heard Laura share the background to the song, and the song took on a greater message, and impact on me!
Suitcases by Dara Mcclain
Behold Our God - Sovereign Grace Music
"Listen to the Sound" by Building 429. This track sounds a lot like the 80's band Genesis with Phil Collins... LOVE that sound!
Blessings by Laura Story
I think my favorite - and it's hard to pick one because I love so many - would have to be 'Hold Me' by Jamie Grace. I always turn it up when its on and just worship Him and enjoy His love and care.
Blessings by Laura Story
My favorite would by Blessings by Laura Story. We went to see her in concert when she came to "Detroit area", MI and she is so funny and so real. It was a wonderful concert. We had a rough year and I lost count of the many times Blessings would come on and I would cry my way through the song reminded that God was still on the throne and at work in my life.
Strong Enough by Matthew West.
I love Addison road and Lift me up by the Afters, Amazing Love and Natalie grant Judy
