I've seen a lot of votes for Diaz and I know it's because he's familiar and has great sounds and an awesome personality. I've heard a few of Johnny's interviews. He's awesome. But I just finished researching Derek Webb. They have it. I mean they as a band have the sound, attitude and spirit to make big waves like we are called to do as living water. I can't explain it in any more words how Derek Webb has effected me in the last 30 minutes. Honestly, I first heard his music because of this CCM email. Vote Derek Webb.

Haven't listened to much Jonny Diaz, but Derek is one of my favorite artists in any genre. Brilliant songwriter, talented musician, and even if you don't agree with everything he says, he certainly challenges you.

Jonny Diaz! Not even close. I don't understand how people who call themselves Christians can use profanity in their music. I saw Derek Webb at RevGen last year and left his show because of the language in his music. Maybe it's just me, but I don't really go for that. So, Jonny all the way!
