Phillips, Craig & Dean walked away from the 41st Annual GMA Dove Awards last week with the honor of “Inspirational Album Of The Year” for their latest release “Fearless” which features the smash worship anthem “Revelation Song” (btw, if you haven’t heard it you need to go listen now- see below). It’s hard to believe that this is their very first award, but Randy Phillips gave us his thoughts about it.
“After singing for almost 20 years, to be honored with our first career Dove win for an album, specifically for ‘Fearless,’ is such an honor. We are humbled by this accolade and the continuation of our ministry as well as the success of ‘Revelation Song.’ Thank you to the Gospel Music Association and to Jennie Lee Riddle for writing such a great song.”

Phillips, Craig & Dean has been blessing me for years. For them to finally win a Dove award is a blessing and about time!!! Revelation Song is amazing and every song on Fearless moves my spirit and touches my soul. I am thankful that Phillips, Craig & Dean were singing for the Lord and not to win awards or they would have quit a long time ago. Praise God they have received accolades from the Gospel Music Association, but more important, Praise God they have been annointed and inspired by our heavenly Father!!! Thank you Phillips, Craig & Dean. Your efforts, sacrifice and willingness to serve our God has blessed me and is very much appreciated.
When I first really heard "Revelation Song", I was walking in a Thrift Store which had a small used radio sitting on the shelf playing that song on low. I stopped and put my ear to it ..it was like a mystical and transforming sound that mesmerized me. I had to have it ...I later bought it on ITunes and must have listened to it 50 times in a row that night. I then learned it on the guitar. It still gives me chills listening to this powerful worship song. I thank God for the artists who listen to His calling, and write the feelings burning in their hearts which gently help lead others to a life in Christ who is the Master of All Things.
I have loved the Revelation Song since the first time I heard it on the radio, simply amazing. Great Are You Lord has touched me in such a different way. It was so overpowering to hear it, and I just started praying. God definitely has his will working in these talented men. Praise God for keeping your eyes on Jesus these years, and praying that he gives you encouragement for many years to come.
